Volunteers

A visit from a volunteer means the world to our neighbours living at Nashwaak Villa. Do you have time to spend reading to an individual? Do you have time to listen to a story or two?

There are many opportunities at Nashwaak Villa for you to get involved. Examples of some current volunteer roles include:

  • Assisting with resident activities such as BINGO, special events, etc.
  • Volunteering as a bus driver or volunteer outing assistant
  • Operating the Helping Hands Gift Shop which is open Monday – Friday from 10am – 4pm
  • Utilizing your own special talents and sharing these with our residents (art classes, musical performances, sewing/ knitting, gardening, etc.)
